Let’s be honest...the vast majority of vegan proteins taste terrible. To make a vegan protein taste great you need two things: Top quality ingredients, and a special flavoring craft that PEScience possesses.

We started with the top quality source of every ingredient in the mix, making Select Vegan likely the most expensive protein on the market to produce. But that is what we do for our customers.

Pea Protein

When it comes to a functional vegan protein, pea protein has become one of the most popular sources. When top-quality sources are used, such as in Select, it has a mild taste and texture. It also has one of the closest amino acid profiles to dairy and egg proteins.

Brown Rice Protein

Rice protein is the truest companion to pea protein. Where pea protein’s amino acid profile is weakest, rice protein’s profile is strongest. The combination of these two protein sources can achieve an amino acid profile nearly identical to dairy or egg protein.

Dairy Free
We understand that some people just have to stick to a dairy free diet. However this doesn't mean that you should be stuck with only bad tasting options for protein powders.

We took notice of all the disgusting options you were having to choose from on the market and decided to put a stop to it. Enjoy your Select Vegan!

Q: How is it with lactose intolerance, fructose malabsorption, and ibs?
A: It does not contain any lactose or fructose

Q: Looking at all your Vegan Protein choices, each one has natural flavors listed as an ingredient. Can you please explain to me exactly what these natural flavors are? Thanks Steve
A: Our flavoring is proprietary information, like most food and beverage companies.

Q: I find that one level scoop of the Vegan PB flavor when weighed is way more g than the serving size on the container. The serving size for one scoop is 31g and when you weigh one scoop it's 51ish g. Can you tell me what is accurate- one scoop is 110 calories (51g) OR one scoop is 188 calories (51g).
A: The product is packed by weight, so the serving size weight is accurate. If you’re finding that your scoops are weighing more it just means the powder has settled in the bottle. Try taking the scoop out, shaking up the entire bottle to allow the powder to fluff, and then taking your scoop. Don’t pack the scoop in

Q: Is this protein safe to drink while pregnant?
A: You would need to ask a doctor

Q: would this protein be good for muscle growth or is the select better?
A: They are both good. The vegan is design for vegans. If you’re not a vegan, get the regular version

Q: Does the vegan series contain BCAA’s like the original?
A: All protein is made up of amino acids, including BCAAs including the plant sources used here

Q: What is the conversion between scoop to measuring cup or teaspoon?
A: A 1/4 cup is the closest thing to a scoop

Q: Does the vegan protein provide a full essential amino acid profile? If not, which ones are lacking so that I can try to implement those in another way?
A: It sure does. That’s the beauty of us using a blend of rice and pea protein

Q: Will the vegan protein powders be made available in the 55 serving size containers the traditional whey/casein powders are? If not, is there something specific about the vegan powders that does not allow it to be sold in this manner?
A: No reason why they haven’t. We plan to start making them in a few months time :)

Q: I'm switching over from Vega protein because they had terrible results for their heavy metal and other contaminant testing. Has your product had quality tests taken on it as well? Are the reports public?
A: Not much. You will notice that all the flavors do not have that overpowering stevia taste.

Q: Are your proteins gluten free, so they don´t contain even traces of gluten in it? I suffer form the celiac desease and have reaction when consume just a small amount of gluten due to cross contamination in factory, for example. Thank you for your responce.
A: All of our products are gluten free

Q: Are any of your vegan protein powders peanut free / peanut safe?
A: Our non-PB flavored vegan proteins do not contain peanuts. And the machines they are produced on are cleaned for allergens after every PB-flavored product is made

Q: Is your vegan/whey proteins NCAA approved?
A: All of our protein products are food products, not supplements, so they don’t need supplement approval. They are food just like a glass of milk is a food product

Q: Does the vegan series contain GMOs?
A: No

Q: I see the wild berry flavor is labeled gluten free, but has (wheat) in the ingredients. If I’m gluten intolerant, will this result in a reaction?
A: There’s no gluten in the product. The ingredient is derived from wheat but doesn’t have any gluten

Q: Are these gluten free?
A: Yes
